Event - is a significant effect that applies to all players at the end of each round.
In the game, events are represented by cards that display:
An event card is drawn each time a player explores a new province tile. Place the event card face up on the event grid, filling each row with up to three cards. The player who revealed the event places their voting cube from the bank onto that card.
At the end of the round in which the first 3 event cards are revealed, players cast their votes for the event in the first row that they consider most favorable. The event card with the most votes will be resolved. From then on, you will replenish the event grid each round so that there are always three event cards available for voting in the next round.
Only one event card is resolved each round, based on the outcome of the vote. This creates opportunities for diplomacy, as players can discuss which events to support or oppose. Some events may be harmful, others may benefit your economy, and some may disrupt your opponents' plans. Prepare for upcoming events and seek alliances before voting. Diplomacy is an important path to victory.
